The Medical
In order to book your training for your LGV or PCV course, you will first need to undergo a driver medical to obtain the provisional category.
We recommend using a company called D4 Drivers who charge around £50.

Alternatively, you can book it with your own GP.
Following the medical, you will need to send off the forms and your licence to the DVLA. Once you have your licence back, which is usually 7-10 days, we suggest you check you have been granted the correct provisional category by visiting https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence
