D1 (Minibus) Courses
This course provides the necessary D1 Licence for driving a Minibus, carrying up to 16 passengers.
The course is usually two or 3 days, with the test itself being conducted on the afternoon of the last day and your reversing examination will take place prior to your test, with one of our own examiners at our training facility.
We always recommend a free assessment drive before you book any driving course with us, and you can do this as soon as you have a provisional licence. This session allows us to ensure 2 days is suitable and for you to get a feel for the vehicle and ensure you are happy to proceed.
How to get Started
Step 1:
You need to undergo a driver medical, which we can arrange for you or you can use your own GP.
Step 2:
Following the medical you will send the D2 and D4 forms with your licence to the DVLA to grant you your provisional entitlement.
Step 3:
When you get your licence back with the provisional entitlement, you can then book your theory tests & your assessment drive. You must pass all three theory tests: the Multiple Choice, the Hazard Perception tests, and the Driver CPC Case Study (if required).
Step 4:
Once you have passed the relevant theory tests, then you can go on to take your practical driving test.
We have the D2 and D4 forms required for the medical and our Doctor comes to our site twice a month and we have a theory study package to help you pass your theory tests.
